Where has the time gone? Thanks to your ongoing support we continue to be successful. In February of 2011 we added two additional scholarship recipients bringing the total number of girls helped to 12! None of our students have taken this opportunity lightly. They are working hard and all girls are turning out impressive academic results. In 2010 Eunice and Sheira (our two most senior students) moved from Lord’s Meade School to Wanyange School which specializes in Sciences. The move was made in anticipation of them pursuing Sciences in University.

The Ugandan Girls Scholarship Foundation has formed a Board of Directors and become a registered Alberta Association and has submitted an application for registered charity status. Stay tuned!
